to me math is one of, if not the, most beautiful things i’ve ever come in contact with
it has been called (and rightfully so) the Queen of the sciences.
mathematics is the language of the world, it is how we explain nature and how we discover more about it.

math is complex and simple, so basic and pure yet so full of meaning and new content…i wish i could tell more people about the beauty of math.
I agree, but it’s been so long since I’ve really done much math. I loved it from Elementary school to High School (other than fucking geometry) but since I’ve only had to take one class in college we’ve fallen out of touch. I read a bit of my brother’s book, Innumeracy: Mathematical Illiteracy and its Consequences by John Allen Paulos. It was fascinating. We lose so much power by having little to no grasp on what numbers actually mean on a grand scale. He also explains that mathematicians are the best comedians. It’s very charming.
